The Palace will be having an activity day (10am to 4pm) on that Sunday so\u00a0you can\u00a0treat her to\u00a0your own\u00a0homemade bouquet of roses &#8211; made right there. You will be able to learn how to make white paper roses, the very same roses adorn the walls of the Palace&#8217;s State Apartments. Better still, why not bring along the whole family, so everyone can take part?<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>After you&#8217;ve made your roses, you can take a tour of the State Apartments and the Enchanted Palace experience, which features installations by desingers such as Paul Costelloe, Zandra Rhodes and Vivienne Westwood, which have been \u00a0inspired by Royal Ceremonial Dress Collection and also by the Palace&#8217;s history.<\/p>\n<p>And to round off the day, why not further spoil your mum by taking her to tea at The Orangery at Kensington Palace, where you can treat her to a Signature Orange Tea (for \u00a314.85 per person) or the Royal Champagne Tea (\u00a320.45 per person). Both teas include\u00a0finger sandwiches, an orange scone with Cornish clotted cream and jam, an eclair and an orange and passion fruit tart, served with a choice of tea or coffee, with the latter version of course also including a glass of champagne.<\/p>\n<p>Entry to the Palace (which includes taking part in the activity) costs \u00a313.75 for adults, \u00a312.10 concessions and \u00a36.90 for children, although a ticket for the Palace is not required to dine in The Orangery.<\/p>\n<p>See <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hrp.org.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\">www.hrp.org.uk<\/a> for more details.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Another round-up of the latest news!
