French pianist and improviser Pascale Berthelot will be performing her latest album Secret Season<\/em> at the Institut fran\u00e7ais on Wednesday 26th April 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mixing experimental practices with a classical repertoire, the concert will see her playing her own personal creations as well as several contemporary pieces including works by G\u00e9rard Pesson, laureate of the Diaphonique Fund for Contemporary Music run by the Institut fran\u00e7ais du Royaume-Uni.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tickets for the concert are priced at \u00a315 (\u00a313 for members and \u00a35 for students) and can be purchased at www.institut-francais.org.uk\/events-calendar\/whats-on\/music\/secret-season-by-pascale-berthelot\/<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

About Pascale Berthelot <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

A concert pianist, improviser and composer, Pascale Berthelot studied at some of the most prestigious music schools in Europe, including graduating from the Conservatoire National Sup\u00e9rieur de Musique et de Danse de Lyon. She has since worked with, amongst others, Benjamin Millepied’s dance company.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She has been the artistic director of the collection Cuicatl, dedicated to new music, for the La Buissonne label since 2008. In 2020, ECM Records released her latest album\u00a0Saison Secr\u00e8te<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
