Recent research by The Kensington Hotel has shown that 48% of mums and dads ar\u00a0embarrassed\u00a0by their youngsters when eating out, so you’re in good company! A new series of classes could therefore be just the thing for you and your brood.<\/p>\n

\"Petite<\/a><\/p>\n

\n

The Kensington Hotel<\/a>, a member of The Doyle Collection<\/a>, is to host two complimentary one-hour classes in November (additional ones will also take place in April 2012) that will teach children important dining manners. Having teamed up with etiquette and manners expert Jean Broke-Smith, the Petite Etiquette classes will include easy-to-learn tips for children to learn.<\/p>\n

Cakes, sandwiches and “tea” will be on offer free of charge to children taking part, whilst parents can enjoy The Kensington Hotel’s renowned Afternoon Tea, or even enjoy a cocktail at the Aubrey Bar made by the hotel’s award winning mixologist, Alessandro Pizzoli.<\/p>\n

Places for the classes are limited, so please contact the hotel on 020 7589 6300 to reserve a place. Children must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times.<\/p>\n

Located in South Kensington, The Kensington Hotel is a wonderful base for families visiting London, located close to both the wonderful open spaces of Hyde Park and the excellent museums of the area, such as the Natural History Museum and the Science Museum. When staying at the hotel, families will find a children’s magazine in the rooms plus milk and cookies on turn down. Children can also enjoy a complimentary main course and dessert from the Children’s menu per adult eating before 7pm in the award winning Aubrey Restaurant and Bar.<\/p>\n

The hotel has 149 stylish rooms and suites, as well as a vibrant cocktail bar, a modern restaurant and a full-service gym.<\/p>\n
