Pret is actually pretty pricey &#8211; the cheapest, plainest sandwiches cost about \u00a32, so if you want to go the whole hog you might find yourself paying quite a bit for lunch! That&#8217;s not too say that the food isn&#8217;t delicious though! There is a Pret next to the tube station, in the arcade in High St. Kensington.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Make your own sandwiches!<br \/>\n<\/strong>The ultimate cheap option would be to buy food from a local supermarket. There are numerous ones dotted all around &#8211; to name a few, there is a huge 24-hour <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sainsburys.co.uk\/home.htm\">Sainsbury&#8217;s<\/a> on Cromwell Road and a giant <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tesco.com\/\">Tesco<\/a> on the corner of Cromwell Road and Warwick Road; a smaller Tesco on Kensington High Street; and a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.waitrose.com\/\">Waitrose<\/a> also on Kensington High Street, as well as Gloucester Road and King&#8217;s Road. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.marksandspencer.com\/\">Marks &amp; Spencer<\/a> also sell good quality food; there&#8217;s one on Kensington High Street and another on King&#8217;s Road.<\/p>\n<p>Buy some cold cuts, cheese, fresh bread and go to one of the local parks and have a feast in the nice weather. This would be about \u00a35-\u00a310 for two.<\/p>\n<p>Or, if you like the idea of a picnic, but feel like slightly fancier food, why not pop along to the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wholefoodsmarket.com\/UK\/index.html\">Whole Foods<\/a> on Kensington High Street?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>You might want your food on the go, or perhaps &#8211; if the weather is good &#8211; you might like a picnic!
