Transport in Kensington & Chelsea

There's plenty of transport options within Kensington & Chelsea, so you won't need a car at all! (Which is a blessing, what with parking charges, the difficulty in finding parking in the first place, and the congestion charge.) Here we present you with various options:

The Underground
Or "Tube" as it's known to locals, the Underground is the easiest way of crossing the city with its extensive lines and great number of stations. There's a number of stations that exist in the Borough.

Buses
Buses are a cheaper way of travelling around London, and especially useful if you're not travelling that far. Once again, there are many, many bus lines that operate in the area.

Taxis & Driving
Sometimes only a taxi will do to get around in - and you may have also brought (or hired) a car! We'll give you advice on both these transport options.

Cycling
If you have access to a bike, cycling's a pretty quick way of getting round the streets of Kensington & Chelsea, especially as you can take advantage of the quiet, residential parts. Nowadays, however, you can also take advantage of London's new cycle hire scheme too!
