Shopping in Kensington & Chelsea? In a word: excellent. There are numerous "high streets" to cater for a lot of your needs, the best of which are Kensington High Street or King's Road which can also be considered amongst the best shopping streets in London.

There are department stores, including the luxury Harrods and Harvey Nichols in Knightsbridge.

Markets also feature in Kensington and Chelsea, the most famous being the Portobello Road market.

In some areas (e.g. Notting Hill), you'll also find one-off boutiques selling unusual items.
